Salesforce Troubleshooting

Use the list below for information regarding common problems encountered by users integrating Experlogix with Salesforce.

Salesforce ICU Locale Format Update Fails in Classic Environments

Problem:

Salesforce fails to automatically apply the Enable ICU Locale Formats release update in some Classic Salesforce organizations. This occurs when the Experlogix package includes classes or Visualforce components with an apiVersion lower than 45.0, which blocks the update.

Prerequisites

  • Org created before Winter ’20.

  • Experlogix Core Salesforce package is installed.

  • Components in the package that use apiVersion < 45.0.

Symptoms

  • The release update does not show as enabled in Setup.

  • Admins cannot activate the ICU update using the UI.

  • Locale formatting behaves inconsistently across customers' organizations.

  • Errors or warnings may display during manual activation.

Possible Causes

  • The package includes Apex classes or Visualforce components with apiVersion < 45.0.

  • The current version of the Experlogix Core package in use is outdated and lacks required version alignment.

Solution

  1. Upgrade the Experlogix Core package to a version where all components are set to apiVersion 62.0:

  2. Navigate to Setup > Release Updates.

  3. Locate and activate Enable ICU Locale Formats.

Next Steps

If none of the above steps resolve the issue, consider the following options:

  • Submit a support ticket: Open Support Portal

  • Contact your system administrator for further assistance.

Salesforce Permissions Error: Settings__C Object Not Recognized

Symptom: When you select the Configure button in Salesforce Cloud Connect, the following error message displays:

"sObject type 'Settings__C' is not supported. If you are attempting to use a custom object, be sure to append the '__c' after the entity name. Please reference your WSDL, or the describe call for the appropriate names."

Cause

This error occurs because SalesForce Cloud Connect does not recognize or support the Settings__C object type. This typically happens if you do not correctly reference the custom object or if you do not assign the necessary permissions.

Solution

  1. Verify Custom Object Reference:

    • Ensure you use the correct custom object name with the __c suffix.

    • Reference your WSDL or use the describe call to confirm the appropriate names.

  2. Assign Permissions:
